Grace Greenwald

Grace Greenwald, RN, is the founder of Refine Aesthetics & Wellness and an expert-level aesthetic nurse injector whose approach is rooted in medicine, artistry, and a deeply personal understanding of what it means to want to feel like yourself again.

Her career in medicine began long before Refine. Grace spent years in dermatology while becoming a registered nurse and also built a career in emergency medicine, where she developed the clinical judgment, precision, and ability to remain calm in high-stakes situations that continue to shape the way she practices today. She later transitioned into advanced aesthetic medicine, combining her medical foundation with extensive training in facial anatomy, injectable techniques, skin health, bioregenerative aesthetics, and wellness.

But Grace’s philosophy was shaped by more than her clinical education and years of treating patients.

Her own health journey changed the way she understands the patients sitting across from her. Over the course of several years, Grace navigated her own significant weight loss, hormonal changes, and many dermatological and physical challenges that accompany various seasons of life. She learned firsthand that looking and feeling well are rarely the result of one treatment, that time and consistency are the keys to reaching goals, and that concerns others may dismiss as “cosmetic” can have a very real impact on confidence and quality of life.

That experience became foundational to the philosophy behind Refine.

Grace believes the best aesthetic medicine should never make someone look like a different person. Her work focuses on facial balance, skin quality, structural support, regenerative treatments, and subtle correction designed to help patients age well while remaining recognizably themselves. Rather than chasing trends or treating isolated concerns, she approaches each patient as a whole person and builds thoughtful, long-term plans around anatomy, biology, lifestyle, and individual goals.

Her guiding philosophy is simple: balance, correct, and enhance without sacrificing identity.

As a former emergency room nurse, Grace is also intentional about preserving the medical integrity of aesthetics. Patient safety, informed consent, continuing education, evidence-based practice, and knowing when not to treat are as important to her as beautiful results. Patients can expect honest recommendations, even when the recommendation is to wait, do less, or choose a different approach entirely.

Grace is proud to call the Lake Oconee community home, where she and her husband are raising their two sons. Refine was created not simply as a business within the community, but as one that actively invests back into it. Refine supports local organizations and initiatives, including Lake Oconee Academy, where Grace’s sons attend school, Good Samaritan Hospital, Habitat for Humanity, and various others that play vital roles in our community.

For Grace, that connection matters. The people who walk through Refine’s doors aren’t simply patients—they are neighbors, friends, parents she sees at school events, healthcare colleagues, and members of the community her own family calls home.

Ultimately, Grace created Refine to be the kind of place she would want to be a patient herself: clinically advanced but deeply human, beautiful without being intimidating, progressive without chasing trends, and grounded in the belief that self care is not selfish.
